Originally from Venezuela, Tomás moved to Chicago in 2016. As a drummer, he initially came to the United States through opportunities in music, playing for several bands and artists, which introduced him to the vibrant cultural scene of his new city.

Upon settling in Chicago, Tomás began working as a Front of House Manager for a group of breakfast and brunch restaurants. It was while holding this position that he discovered his love for the hospitality business. Over the next seven years, he honed his skills, learning the ins and outs of restaurant management and customer service, eventually becoming a General Manager.

Tomás is eager to bring his experience and dedication to River North Bistro and looks forward to leading the team and contributing to the restaurant’s success.
